Celebrity Silhouette takes its maiden voyage from Hamburg, Germany, on July 23.

The latest in the Solstice class of cruise ships, the Celebrity Silhouette finally reveals herself on July 23 for her 7-night inaugural sailing through Europe from Hamburg, Germany. The ship offers a twist on all of the unique features that past cruisers on the fleet have come to know and love, along with some exciting offerings that they’ve never seen before.

Take the brand new Lawn Club Grill, which brings even more flavor to the lush oasis. Relaxation reigns supreme at The Alcoves, the Club’s cool cabana scene, so bring the family or a few friends to kick back by day or wind down at night. The Silhouette also debuts one-of-a-kind enrichment center The Art Studio. Whether you’re interested in painting, the art of cocktail-making, or just sampling entrees created by master chefs, this is the place to try your hand at something new. This is all in addition to Cellar Masters, the onboard wine tour and tasting program that encourages you to sip international reds and whites. Need to get away from it all? Escape to The Hideaway, a designated spot for seclusion featuring an actual treehouse, where you can listen to music or just curl up with a good book.

With 85 percent of staterooms offering balconies, there’s a great chance of you getting a room with a view on the Silhouette.  Suite staterooms can measure up to nearly 1,300 square feet, and passengers looking for peace and quiet can find their zen in AquaClass staterooms, which connect right to the state-of-the-art AquaSpa and feature exclusive amenities and luxurious stateroom extras like mood lighting and plush robes.

Onboard dining is quite divine as well, with Solistice-class favorites like Murano and the Tuscan Grille. Innovative eatery Qsine, which debuted on the Eclipse in early 2010, brings its iPod touch menus and whimsical presentations (think sushi lollipops) to the Silhouette. Spa staple Blue, exclusively for the ship’s AquaClass stateroom guests, churns out nutritious and delicious fare. Craft beer buffs will love Michael’s Club, which boasts almost 50 ales from around the world.

With voyages ranging from 7 to 17 nights, the ship will cruise the Caribbean and Europe, with a voyage through Italy and Greece immediately following her inaugural sailing. With so much to enjoy, the Silhouette won’t remain hidden for long.
